Student Recognition

It is the goal of the John L. Golden Elementary staff to provide encouragement for all students to grow into stellar citizens of our school community. We encourage families to read through this with their students to help them decide which awards they want to attain and set goals to achieve those awards.

Students are recognized who are at school for the whole day (includes being on time and staying the whole school day) all trimester except for 2 or less absences.

Students meet administration on the playground during recess for a treat/reward.

1st-5thStudents walk before school to meet 5, 10, 15 and so on mile markers.

Students receive various awards and prizes for the amount of miles they walk.
