
Happy Read Across America Day!


Today, we're giving a high five to the members of SEAC, a student advisory group. They have met with a district advisor a few times this school year to give feedback on programs at their school sites. Throughout the meetings, they are engaged, kind, and responsible.


We had a tremendous turnout at last night's district spelling bee. Congratulations to all of our Etiwanda students who participated in this event and will move on to the county level. #EtiwandaExcellence





Samuel Matthew, Abheri Surredi, and Jupharnoor Singh are the top three spellers from last night, with Jupharnoor Singh, an eighth-grader from Heritage Intermediate, taking first place. #EtiwandaExcellence


Golden Elementary's PTA is getting a high five today for their membership drive. They have over 1,000 members, which is the most of any active PTA in San Bernardino County. Way to go, Golden Community!

This week's highlighted employee is Mrs. Brown, school librarian from John L. Golden Elementary. She assists the students and families of Golden Elementary
with pride, compassion, and integrity. Thank you, Mrs. Brown, for being so great with our students.

Krysabelle from Golden Elementary is giving a high five to her fantastic second grade teachers: Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. Sorensen! They have challenged and helped her to exceed her AR goals this year, in addition to cultivating and utilizing her strengths!

Laurien McClue, PTA president at John L. Golden Elementary, is receiving a virtual high five today from a Golden family. They want to make sure that she knows that the time and effort she is putting into the school and students does not go unnoticed. Great job, Laurien.


Mrs. Jensen/Galvan's Preschool class at Golden Elementary is giving Mr. James a virtual high five today. They appreciate him so much and have even named him the "world's best custodian." Thank you, Mr. James, for all that you do at Golden Elementary.

October 2nd is National School Custodian Day. This is to show appreciation for our custodial staff, who are dedicated to keeping our schools clean and running smoothly. Take a moment and give them a BIG THANK YOU for all that they do to keep our schools safe and sparkling.
