Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is the intentional
structuring of learning environments to equip students for behavioral
success in school and life. This school-wide approach to discipline
focuses on building a safe and positive environment in which all
students can learn. PBIS is intricate to students achieving.
The foundation of PBIS at John L. Golden Elementary is three universal expectations:

- Be Responsible
- Be Safe
Part of this approach is being proactive in directly teaching students
