My name is Rabecca Galvan and I am looking forward to working with you and your child.  I am happy to be apart of the Golden family and cannot wait to get know your child. This is my twenty-first year teaching preschool overall and my sixth year teaching with Etiwanda School District.  I have previously taught with Upland Unified School District, San Bernardino Head Start and Ontario-Montclair School District.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in child development from Cal State Los Angeles, a child development program director permit, an early childhood special education credential and a master’s degree in special education from Cal State San Bernardino. I've been been happily married to my high school sweetheart for 24 years. We have two children and a grandson age 1.

My goal is to provide your child with a warm, caring, fun and nurturing learning environment.  I envision “great expectations” for all of my students.  I want to encourage your child’s positive contributions; build on your child’s strengths; enable your child to become self-determined; and expand your child’s relationships with peers.  I use differentiated instruction to help build your child’s prior knowledge, by giving them new life experiences and capturing their interests.  I like to address each child’s needs from struggling to advanced learners.
