John L. Golden Elementary is proud to be a WATCH D.O.G.S. and M.O.M.S. school!
(Dads of Great Students and Moms of Magnificent Students)
We are so happy to have our Golden Dads and Moms on our campus providing our students with positive male and female role models! Their presence is vital to promote better social behavior and self-esteem. Just by being here, our Dads and Moms provide a sense of security for our students at school.
Please attend our WATCH D.O.G.S./M.O.M.S. event(s) to learn about this amazing program and sign up for days to volunteer!
See school calendar for dates. (Child Care will be provided so parents can attend.)
D.O.G.S./M.O.M.S. can help with before/after school traffic to keep a watchful eye out for our students. D.O.G.S./M.O.M.S. are also welcome to run an activity during recesses such as basketball drills, soccer drills, hockey drills, reading a story under the tree, jump roping to music, Hula Hooping to music or drawing with chalk. Whether you can offer to come a few mornings or would like to volunteer one day a week for the year, we would love to have you!
If you are interested in being part of the Top Dog Team who oversees the program, please contact Golden's Principal.
Shirts can be purchased in the school office for a $10 donation.
D.O.G.S./M.O.M.S. must have filled out the Etiwanda Volunteer Packet and signed WATCH D.O.G.S./M.O.M.S. paperwork prior to volunteering.
