Hi There!

My name is Cassie Izaguirre. Most students call me Mrs. Izzy, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!

This is my 11th year in Etiwanda School District and 12th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and fourth grade. I have also been an Academic Advisor at Golden and another site in our district. I loved my time as an academic advisor, and I have a passion for administration, but nothing beats building relationships in the classroom with my students.

I have my bachelors, masters, teaching credential, and administrative credential from the University of La Verne.

My husband, Matt, is also a teacher! Our son, Logan, is a student here at Golden. At home, Logan loves to take care of our golden retriever, Zeppelin, and our cat, Zoey. As a family, we enjoy going to Palm Springs, visiting my sister in Bishop, and scootering around our neighborhood.

While I truly believe in the power of learning, I also want you to know that I will love your child while they are with me each day. I can't wait to connect with them, build relationships, and see how much they grow this year!
