Hi There!

My name is Cassie Izaguirre. Most students call me Mrs. Izzy, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!

This is my 10th year in Etiwanda School District and 11th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and fourth grade. Last year I was an Academic Advisor at Golden and another site in our district. I loved my time as an academic advisor, and am excited to be an administrative designee at Golden this year, but I can't wait to get back into the classroom to make even more connections with students.

I have my bachelors, masters, teaching credential, and administrative credential from the University of La Verne. At the end of last school year, I also completed classes at UCLA to complete my TK credential.

My husband, Matt, is also a teacher! We have a four year old son, Logan, who is joining the Golden family this year! He definitely keeps us on our toes and loves to play with our two dogs, Minnie and Zeppelin, as well as our cat, Zoey. In our spare time, we love to fish, visit with family, ride our scooters, and go to Mammoth on vacation.

While I truly believe in the power of learning, I also want you to know that I will love your child while they are with me each day. I can't wait to connect with them, build relationships, and see how much they grow this year!
